Black Diamond Slate

Gray/Black Roofing Slate Tiles

An excellent unfading gray/black roofing slate tile for a traditional look with medium to heavy texture. Provides a blend of dark grays and blacks for contrast on the roof.

Dover Black Roofing Slate Tiles

A heavy texture roofing slate tile. It is very similar in look and physical properties to domestic black. Manufactured in Buckingham, VA and Peach Bottom Slate, once available from Pennsylvania. Dover Black is a non-weathering and unfading stone with a high enough level of quartz to provide the glistening sheen that is also seen on these domestics.

Vermont Clear Black Roofing Slate Tiles

A heavy textured black slate tile with a wide range of color and shading. Like other Vermont Blacks, this is a semi-weathering stone that develops earth tones of brown, buff, black and gray/green over time.

Vermont Black Roofing Slate Tiles

A heavy textured black slate tile with a consistent gray/black color. Unlike Vermont Clear Blacks, this stone weathers very little but can develop a uniform light bronze haze over time. Slight variations on color can be seen in the strata lines adding to the heavy textured appearance. Large Sizes available up to 1" thick.

Virginia Slate

Classic Blue/ Black Slate

Classic Blue/ Black roofing slate is rich in color with a smooth uniform texture suitable for both formal and traditional architectures. It’s one of the hardest slates available, and provides the highest resistance to acids on the market. Our roofing slate will provide a lasting beauty, protection and attractive investments that will add value to any property. All roofing slates are standard ¼ — 3/8 inch thick. This slate is commonly used as a substitution for “Buckingham Slate”, “Monson Black,” “PA Black Slate”, or “Banger Slate.”

River Stone Gray

River Stone Gray roofing slate is an excellent hard-vein with an even gray tone that has a distinctive course texture. Up close one can see slight lines in these slate roof tiles that add a nice texture once it has been installed on the roof. River Stone Gray is a warm battleship gray that darkens slightly over time. This slate has a textured appearance with varying color from piece to piece. This slate is often sold as an “Unfading Gray” or a “Strata Gray/Black” slate match.

East Moorland Green Roof Slate

Unfading East Moorland Green has become one of our most popular roofing slate tiles due to its forest green tones. The variations from piece to piece and blend of light and dark shades clearly make this one of the most popular “Unfading Green Slate” on the market today. These slate shingles are often sold as an “Unfading Green Slate” or a “Mottled Green Slate”.

Colonial Black

Colonial Black is quarried with a uniform black tone with little variation from piece to piece. Yet due to its higher percentage of Calcium, about 10% to 20% percent of these slate shingles will weather to lighter shades of grays and buffs. The weathering slate roofing is commonly used as a substitute for “Vermont Black” or Vermont Clear Black”. This weathering slate is commonly used in Historic districts allowing the new roof to have an aged appearance.

Colonial Blue / Gray Roofing Slate

This beautiful slate roofing is an Unfading Blue / Gray or Blue / Black colored slate. The color and texture of this roofing slate is clearly one of the nicest quality roof slates available in today’s market. This slate is the perfect match for “Buckingham Slate” and or “Monson Black Slate”. The cost of this slate roofing is a little bit higher than most, but the quality of it will save you money in the long run with less needed to finish the job.

DaVinci Slate

Slate, Sythentic, and Shake Shingles

Beautiful, Distinctive, and Durable

A natural slate roof is the hallmark of an extraordinary home. A natural slate roof is stone, pulled from the earth and worked down into shingles, and is incredibly durable, waterproof, and fireproof. However, natural slate can be brittle and easily damaged by hail, flying debris or even foot traffic on the roof. Additionally a slate shingle can vary in quality and some can be softer than others and less durable. As time passes, some grades of slate shingles may become flaky and crumbly, requiring repair or replacement. That does not happen with a DaVinci composite slate roof.

  • DaVinci believes that slate roofing should truly enhance the beauty of your property, as well as offer a high-level of protection for your home — without expensive maintenance and repair.
  • DaVinci Slate is a complete line of synthetic slate roofing materials that are natural in appearance, incredibly durable, and easy to install.
  • DaVinci slate roofing is an economical choice, at approximately one-half the installed cost of natural slate shingles.
  • The DaVinci Slate line of composite slate shingles is available in Single-Width and Multi-Width varieties.
  • Beautiful varieties to choose from, high durability, easy installation, and low total cost of ownership
